Well, it's been a hectic couple of weeks at the Tiki househould, South African division. I thought things would settle down some after the move, but no . . . a family medical emergency and extreme computer problems have taken up a lot of time and prevented me from being online as much as I wanted to, and the distressing lack of good fabric stores near my new home have put the kibosh on a lot of the sewing I intended to do (guess I'll have to bite the bullet and pay for expensive shipping from overseas, oh well).
But there is good news!
Thanks to a bunch of extremely cool and generous people, I have enough points to turn
Also, I've taken over the group
And lastly, I'm about halfway through writing The Complete Pony Plushie Handbook which will be a downloadable .pdf that covers all aspects of making a stuffed pony - and a bunch of general information that applies to any kind of stuffed animal - and is aimed at the beginner crafter. It will probably end up including some exclusive patterns. I'll be looking for beta readers very soon now!

Congrats on the super group !
That book sounds amazing *___*
May i suggest you something for the book? If isn't too much to ask. Something like general guidelines to sew clothes? I learned a lot from sewing the ones for my contest entry ( will upload it tomorrow ) but i still feel lost regarding them, and there aren't many patterns out there.
I was actually considering notes on sewing clothes! I am not the best at sewing them, myself, but I'll probably include a simple shirt, skirt and pants for the anthro doll and maybe a simple pattern to fit the 4-legged one. I've made little dog jackets before and it's a very similar pattern.
That would be amazing!
the book sounds awesome!! i havent tried making a plushie yet (cause i stick at sewing) but when it comes, ill download it and have a try (i might try before that
