Little Trixie Plushie by Voodoo-Tiki Little Trixie Plushie by Voodoo-Tiki
This Trixie is a pattern test for a "beginner's pattern" - no darts, no inset hooves, no head gusset. If you can sew a straight line, you can make this.

How did you do her mane? Is it just long fake fur, or did you add in brushable hair?

It's all fake fur - it's a kind called "Mongolian shag".

If it's really as easy as you say, I think I may learn to sew just for this.

It's VERY easy. And you only need to know two stitches, backstitch and ladder stitch.

I can't look at these plushies the same way anymore. Not since those sex doll versions were made for all the cloppers.

Yeah, those are unsettling. Rest assured, I won't be doing that.

Interesting, I assume this is your first one. Well then, I guess that means we'll see more in the future.

I gotta say, I don't like your choice of fabric.

The minky probably looks a little weird because she's so small, about 4 inches tall. It's pretty standard materials.

She's actually a semi-well known pony plusher.
She's just trying to create an easier free pattern for beginners.
And it's minky.

Ah, well that's news to me. Anyway, minky looks terrible.

Oh oops, you meant the faux fur. I get it from Ever After on etsy: [link] She sells it in small cuts which are perfect for plushie making.

The minky? I have to order it online - minkydelight.com - but if you can find velour in the local fabric store, that works really well, too.

Awesome, I've been looking for a simple pattern without head gussets. :iconfluttershyyayplz:

Yeah, head gussets are a challenge. This one has a 4-part head, it should be MUCH easier.
